MANTOLAMINA
Self – Protected membrane with Metal Lamina

DESCRIPTION

MANTOLAMINA is the ideal finishing layer for attractive durable waterproofing coverings requiring very little maintenance. These light and flexible membranes may be used for many different types of buildings such as schools, houses, churches, industrial and sports buildings Waterproofing membranes consisting of thermally soldered bituminous compound with glass fibre reinforcement and surface lamina in any of the following metals.

99.75% pure soft copper
Pure natural aluminum
Kiln pre-enameled aluminum.

This metal protection offers a double advantage :

1. A superior appearance and anti-ageing properties which prevent dispersion of the volatile substances in bitumen

2. Its thermally stable thanks to the production process used and the special fractioned expansion embossing that prevents differential movements between the metal and the bituminous mass.

The copper version contains an elastomer binder called ARMA, while those in aluminum have a oxidized bitumen based compound both designed specifically to ensure perfect adherence of the lamina and secure joints between the sheets.
